Rail Carriage Chalet
For those looking for something special in their accommodation, this beautifully restored railway passenger carriage is certainly right on track. The large lounge which is open planned through to the kitchenette dinning area has a TV, two couches and coffee tables, as well as the original single seats that the train guards used to use. Sleeping arrangements are: A master double bedroom at the far end. A set of original bunks in the next room. There are two double sofa sleepers in the lounge- in effect giving you 3 individual sleeping areas. We supply linen & towels for the double bedroom but please bring your own bedding and towels for the sofa sleepers.
The tariff during winter is $190 per night; longer midweek stays can be as low as $160 per night. As low as $100 p/n for couples during summer.
