4x4 Video & Photography Light Control Kit – Westcott Scrim Jim Cine
A compact professional light-control kit for videographers and photographers, designed for shaping both natural and artificial light in studios, interviews and location shoots.
The 4x4 Westcott Scrim Jim Cine frame is easier to position in smaller spaces than a 6x6 while still providing a large surface for softening, bouncing and controlling light around a subject.
The included Westcott 3/4-stop diffusion can be used to soften sunlight or placed in front of an LED fixture to create a larger, softer source. The Westcott Silver/White Bounce Fabric provides two options for redirecting natural or artificial light onto your subject.
Also included as useful extras are a 4x4 unbleached muslin and 4x4 honeycomb grid. These are third-party accessories rather than official Westcott Scrim Jim fabrics and attach to the frame using the included spring clamps.
The unbleached muslin provides a soft, warm bounce that's particularly useful for portraits, interviews and warmer skin tones. The honeycomb grid can be used with the diffusion for indoor lighting setups to help control the spread of light and reduce unwanted spill onto backgrounds and surrounding walls.
The kit is supplied with a tall 3.3m C-stand and Westcott Universal Clamp with 5/8" stud, providing a complete support solution without requiring additional grip equipment.

For outdoor use, the 4x4 diffuser provides good coverage for a single subject in close-ups and medium shots, depending on the position and angle of the sun. For wider framing, full-body shots, multiple subjects or situations where greater coverage and positioning flexibility are required, we recommend our 6x6 Video & Photography Light Control Kit.

terms of use:- Equipment must be collected and returned at the agreed times and in the same condition it was supplied.
- The hirer is responsible for the equipment while it is in their possession, including loss, theft or damage beyond normal wear and tear.
- Equipment must be used appropriately and only for its intended purpose.
- The supplied sandbag must be used. Additional weighting may be required outdoors or where conditions - present a greater risk of the stand tipping.
- The c-stand must not be left unattended outdoors.
- Any faults, damage or missing items must be reported as soon as possible.
- The hirer may be responsible for reasonable repair or replacement costs where equipment is lost or damaged during the hire period.
- Late returns may incur additional hire charges.
- Please allow time at collection for a quick equipment check and setup overview if you are unfamiliar with the kit.
