terms of use:

1. The Storage Fee is to be paid yearly into the Owner’s account (see below) on or before the 20 September.
2. The Storer will have 24/7 access to the Space via their own key.
3. The Owner provides no guarantee over any Goods stored in the Space, including, but not limited to: theft, vandalism, damage due to water egress, humidity, temperature, weather, earthquake, or structural failing of the Space.
4. The Storer will not damage the Space, its door or surroundings, or store anything that could cause damage
to the Space. If damage is caused, the Owner may invoice the Storer for repairs.
5. The Storer will not leave Goods blocking the public footpath, other garages or access to the house.
6. The Storer will leave the doors closed at all times, unless accessing the Space.
7. The Storer will not store anything illegal or engage in illegal activity in the Space.
8. If the Owner needs to access the Space, they will notify the Storer by text message or phone call before entering. If emergency access to the Space is required by the Owner, they will notify the Storer as soon as reasonably possible after entering.
9. The Owner or Storer may end the Agreement by giving the other 2 month’s notice. A refund will be provided to the Storer for any pre-paid rent, if applicable.
10. The Storer agrees that the Owner can obtain a consumer credit report for the Storer, if deemed necessary.
11. If the Storer is overdue in payment of the Storage Fee by 14 days or more, or has broken any of the other terms,
the Owner may:
— Immediately terminate this Agreement;
— Give the Storer 7 days’ notice to remove the Stored Goods;
— Deny the Storer access to the Space until the default is remedied;
— Continue to charge rent until the Space is fully emptied;
— Charge interest (at a rate of 10% per week) on any outstanding amount, until it has been paid in full;
— Engage debt collection services and/or the Disputes Tribunal to recover outstanding payments at the expense of the Storer.
12. If Stored Goods are still in the Space after the expiry of the notice to remove, the Owner may:
— Charge the Storer for the cost of having any Stored Goods removed and disposed of;
— Sell Stored Good, retaining any proceeds of the sale to cover outstanding rent, and any expenses
of disposal, including time spent arranging the selling and emptying of the Space.
